Photo slideshow with music

Make a photo slideshow with music — without an editor

A slideshow lives or dies on its pacing. Instead of dragging every photo along a timeline, you give StoryMaker the song and the photos: it spreads them evenly across the track, joins them with soft cross-fades and adds a slow, steady zoom so still pictures feel alive. You stay in charge of the order — the timing takes care of itself.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Add your song

Drop in an MP3 or WAV. Its length becomes the length of your slideshow.

  2. 2

    Add your photos

Drag in as many as you like. Sort them by the date they were taken, by name, or shuffle — then nudge any photo into place.

  3. 3

    Choose the look

Turn on cross-fades and a gentle push-in or pull-out, add an opening title and a closing card.

  4. 4

    Export and share

Pick landscape, vertical, 4:5 or square and export an MP4, rendered right in your browser.

Tips for a better result

Let the song choose the count

Around 4–6 seconds per photo feels relaxed; for a three-minute song that's 30–45 photos. Fewer photos give each one more time.

Sort by date for a story

Chronological order turns a pile of pictures into a story with a beginning and an end — one click with “Oldest first”.

Bookend it

A title card with a name or a date and a short closing message make the slideshow feel finished, not just stopped.

Formats

Landscape 16:9 for a TV or YouTube, square or 4:5 for social feeds, vertical 9:16 for Stories and Reels.

Private by design

Your photos never leave your device: StoryMaker renders the slideshow in your browser.

Ready when your song is.
