How to make it
- 1
Add a song with momentum
Something with a clear beat keeps a recap moving. Trim the idea of "the whole trip": 30 to 60 seconds plays best on social.
- 2
Sort by date taken
Your photos and clips fall into the order you lived them. Move any shot by hand if the story reads better another way.
- 3
Name the place
Replace "Our trip" with the city or route and the year, then export.
Tips
Fill, then check the crop
Fill crops landscape photos to the vertical frame. For a shot where the subject sits off-centre, tap it under Effects so the crop keeps it in.
Mix in clips
A two-second clip of waves or a street scene between photos makes the whole recap feel alive.
Make a landscape cut too
Switch to 16:9 for YouTube or the family TV and export again; nothing else changes.
Music and length
For Reels and TikTok, 30 to 60 seconds with 15 to 30 shots. For a full trip film, one song of three to four minutes.
Plans
