How to make it

Choose a song that was theirs
A song they loved, or one the family associates with them. Two songs can be blended into one tribute on Creator.

Gather photos across a life
Childhood to recent years. Sort by date taken, then move favourite photos to the opening and the end.

Write the title and closing line
Their name and years, and a closing line in your own words.

Tips

Scan old prints

A phone photo of a printed picture works well; hold the phone parallel and avoid glare.

Set the focus on faces

Tap the face in each photo under Effects so the slow zoom moves toward them.

Your photos stay with you

Nothing is uploaded: the video is made on your computer and saved to it.

Music and length

For a service, five to eight minutes: about 60 to 120 photos. Free covers five minutes; Creator up to 15.
