Birthday video template

Bright colours, a handwritten title over the first photo and a closing card that says it all. Add the birthday person's favourite song and a few dozen photos; the template paces them to the music, so the video ends exactly when the song does.

How to make it

  1. 1

    Choose the song

Their favourite song, or the one from a shared memory. One song is usually the right length for a party screen or a group chat.

  2. 2

    Add the photos, oldest first

Sort by date taken and the video becomes a story: baby photos to last weekend. Mix in short clips; they play in their slot.

  3. 3

    Make the title theirs

Change "Happy birthday!" to their name and age, check the closing card, and export.

Tips

Lead with a laugh

Open on a photo that makes people react. The first five seconds decide whether a room keeps watching.

Pick faces, not places

Tap the face in each photo under Effects: the gentle zoom moves toward it instead of the middle of the frame.

Make one for the phone too

Switch the format to 9:16 and export again for Stories and WhatsApp status.

Music and length

Three to four minutes fits 40 to 70 photos at a comfortable pace. Free exports up to five minutes, so one whole song always fits.

Plans

Try it and preview it on any plan. Exporting the template's styling needs Creator; on Free you can remove the styling with one click and export your photos, music, format and text.

Ready when your song is.
